There are many family owned hotels in the Old Town area in the heart of the town, the area we prefer. Some of these hotels have gone online recently. The Tourist Office Web Site has a list of these hotels and others.

The Tourist Office can also direct you to many other places to stay in the area. There are small guest houses, pensions, and bed and breakfast in Aschaffenburg and in the towns and small villages nearby.

Wherever you go in this romantic old town with its sleepy alleyways and ancient half-timbered houses, you will make some delightful discoveries and probably a new friend.
